Lots of parking. Beautiful ambiance. Lots of seating depending on what time of day you're there. Good service. Friendly staff. They seat you immediately upon arrival. The whole place is clean. The sushi is amazing. This is one of my favorite sushi spots. Price is decent. I highly recommend the Omakase, although everything is pretty good, I haven't had anything bad at all. This was bit our first time here and won't be our last.

Went here with a friend last weekend and enjoyed the experience! The portion sizes were generous and reasonably priced. We shared the Oyster Special app and I ordered the Chirashi. We both commented on how thick the sashimi slices were. I love wasabi and ginger, and I liked how generous they were with those servings too. The oyster app is sooo flavorful, you have to try it when you go! I loved it Overall, the ambience felt peaceful with warm indoor light and sunlight streaming in through the windows. The music wasn't too loud, making it easy to have a relaxing conversation. The service was quick, attentive, and nice. They offered us free ice cream at the end of our meal which we appreciated. My friend got the green tea ice cream and I got black sesame. :) Areas of improvement: I would've preferred if the oyster app came out before the entree, but it came out shortly after so it wasn't a huge deal. Also, the bathroom could be much cleaner. The floor was wet and had toilet paper roll strewn about. But overall it was a positive experience and I recommend it! There's a big parking lot so it was easy to find a spot, and if you plan to take BART, it's about a 20min walk. I drove 45mins to get here and would definitely do it again! Good for a casual lunch or date night.

Located on Warm Springs Road in Fremont, in a small strip mall. This is my new favorite Omakase sushi restaurant, featuring large cuts of high quality seafood on tiny pieces of rice. Their 10 piece Omakase sushi is an excellent value at $46! I also recommend their oyster, uni shooters, which is served on a soup spoon! Delicious mix of flavors, seasoned with fish eggs and ponzu sauce. By the way, they provide freshly grated Japanese wasabi, not the artificial horseradish.

Believe me when I say that I was doing a happy dance when I found out Amami opened a location in Fremont. The sushi gods have shined favor my way! The reason Amami ranks quite high on my list is their very reasonably priced omakase. The variety and quality of the fish that they source is amazing. Sometimes I just want great tasting sushi but I don't want to pay michelin prices. Lastly, I love that the omakase comes with real freshly grated wasabi. Fresh wasabi is life changing.

This is one of my favorite sushi spots, thanks to its incredibly fresh sushi and the real wasabi served with sashimi dishes. I didn't realize I had been missing out on authentic wasabi until I tried it here--it was a game-changer! At first glance, the menu looks like that of any other sushi restaurant, but the quality truly sets it apart. You might not fully appreciate it until you see and taste the dishes for yourself. The freshness is impressive and very reasonably priced, especially compared to Michelin-star sushi places. Overall, this is a sushi experience you won't regret trying!

Came here with a friend on a Sunday afternoon shortly after it opened and it was already pretty crowded! They're doing well business-wise. Staff and Service: - There was only one waitress weaving the whole restaurant, but she was quick and kind - You can scan a QR code to identify what dishes you want, and then a server will take your order Food: We ordered a few rolls and edamame to eat. All were tasty. The 49er roll was a bit different as the standard one is a California roll topped with fresh salmon and a lemon slice. This roll was avocado and cucumber topped with fresh salmon and a lemon slice. The salmon lover roll was tasty and didn't have an overpowering taste of the salmon skin. Miscellaneous: - Parking available via a shared parking lot with other businesses - Definitely look at the tv screens as they show the different rolls and dishes for inspiration!

I came here on a Monday and luckily it wasn't that busy. They offer hot tea and it was pretty good for this windy weather. My mom ordered the salmon bento with gyoza, while I got their regular sashimi platter and their 49er roll. The 49er roll was good, but unfortunately not good on a cold day. Inside of the restaurant was pretty cold too so maybe that affected my experience eating here. What I love the most was how they cooked their salmon, it tasted like it was cooked from a charcoal grill. I really like their quality of fish and how they were big pieces. It was our first time here and my mom really likes this place and that what all matters to me. She was impressed so she ordered the scallop sushi roll she saw playing on the flat screen t.v. That's some good marketing lol. I was also impressed by the scallop sushi roll, usually sushi doesn't taste good the next day when refrigerated, but when I ate it the next day after microwaving it, it tasted amazing!

The omaskase set was amazing! It was about $50 for 10 pieces of nigiri. The various cuts of fish were so fresh and they were extremely generous with the portion sizes. The rice was maybe only about a third of the fish's length at most because they cut it so long. My favorites were the escolar (bottom left) and fatty tuna (middle), but all the pieces were delicious. I wish they included a brief introduction of what we were being served in the omakase, because it's hard to tell for some of the more uncommon types of fish and toppings. Other than that, service was fine.

Came here recently and will say the omakase board is still tasty and worth the price!! Uni spoons were so/so - too much sauce, prob wouldn't order this again. Otoro nigiri was rich & tasty, def would order again. Oysters were tasty/fresh but a bit pricey for the portion/size. Nori tacos were a hard pass, too much stuff on top and too much sauce - took away from the fish and the nori ofc had a soggy texture eventually. Didn't have to wait since I came here pretty early with a friend - usually arriving around 5/6 on a weekday is no wait. But weekends & or weekday peak dinner time (7ish) is def still busy.

Service at this location was brisk and the dishes came out fairly quickly. I sat by the bar and watched as the chefs deftly prepared my order! I ordered the chirashi bowl, two uni nigiri, and four pieces of salmon sashimi (could've done without this part since the chirashi bowl was so plentiful!!). I got four thick pieces of tuna, hamachi, salmon, and albacore. I didn't love that it didn't come in an actual bowl so I couldn't mix together the fish with the sushi rice. Uni nigiri here is quite good and fresh, the rice is a bit too sweet for my liking but I had a good experience. I would come back here again but probably not order the chirashi unless it was to-go.
